Awesome, very on point. Added to the post, thanks!

Pretty cool stuff, thanks for sharing!

Sure. Efficiency isn't everything, though. At the end of the article there are a few people to get you started. Then you can go to your favorites in that list, and follow some of the people THEY are following. Rinse and repeat, follow boosted folks. You'll have 100 souls in no time.

That's a valid point! I've been searching for places to hangout for a while, sometimes called "campfires". Found a cool Discord with generous front-end folks (that's a broad spectrum!), on frontend.horse.

Sounds good! Sometimes it's hard to keep the momentum. Get back to me if you're stuck!

Let's go, Fred! Join the movement, build a website, share the link, link out, rinse and repeat! :)

Rob is a web industry veteran, and his ideas are extremely relevant for the days we live in today. We need a refocus, and a sense of community in the design/web development world.

Want some ideas? :)

I dream of a web that fosters healthy conversations, together with personal and intellectual growth. The world is diverse and fascinating, and we can be information explorers together.

It's true that starter packs are a great idea. A lot of innovation can be done around lists, and this is a good example. I second what @sopuli.xyz said, taking it slow on the Fediverse feels good. It's about the quality, not the quantity.

OK. Added the link to fedi.tips. Thanks again!

Awesome! I'll update my post, thanks for this tip! What's the best way to credit you?

Ghost has a clear path for this. I'm keeping a close eye, pretty respectable work for such a big player. Excited to integrate this on a friend's website soon, self-hosted version.

Ghost seem to be very receptive to feedback, as they post on the progress of their ActivityPub development. This is good feedback, send it their way!
