True but also free service and fun to play with.

If only they made stores that were actually good and truly compete with Steam.

I personally think once a year is not enough. Every 6 months might be better. Also people already spend a lot during December that they might not prioritize donating to KDE.

For those complaining.... Well I don't know what to say to them. Such a big complex software which is 100% free should be allowed to remind us that they need money.

Don't forget they said it's running as a daemon specifically so you can easily disable it if it triggers you so much.

I'm waiting for battlemage to give them a try. I really want them to succeed.

You are thinking of K9

Ah yes I did the same thing as you as I checked again but from my PC.

I just paid myself the 110 after using it for 2 years. It's not for the popup since I was using a script to remove it. It's more to get the production ready updates. My server has too many important things now, I don't want less tested changes. That and to support the devs.

$550? For a homelab you should only need to pay €110/year. What am I missing here?

Is there a point in getting this on NixOS other than just because we can?

Wow ok thanks for the explanation, I had no idea. Maybe I should look for an alternative, if there is still one.

I guess I'm out of the loop, what's wrong with Canva?

You could register to your local Lemmy server, if there is one.

Ah crap, good to know. This sucks though, I was thinking of using it to replace CF. What's left? Quad9 and the unbound type?
