FCC is kind of a joke. Corp tells them what to do. If FCC did what it's meant to do, we wouldn't have such crap mobile and Internet infrastructure, terrible privacy policies, etc etc.

Nothing. This is a PR move by meta, nothing more. They are trying to seem "hip" and push their ads.
Meta, Google, MS, OpwnAI, etc gave akeasy scrubbed fediverse. Probably associated accounts to folks real names.
I tried nebora after I effed up my kunutnu install. I was doing some super weird stuff. (Tried to remove snap)
Nebora for me was the worst experience out of every distro I've tried. I went back to kubuntu and manually applied what nebora did with much better results. (This time around I removed snap before doing anything else).
Kububtu with snap removed has been perfect so far.
Mostly increased the spying to stay alive lol
