my fear is that openai is analyzing everything you do on the phone, not so much the chatbot. but then again i bet apple and google are already doing exactly that. all the forced AI stuff just irritates me like hell. and i live in EU area so sideloading is possible. i haven't looked much into how much open source apps are available though.
one got confused and stopped in an intersection, then decided to perform system updates and got stuck in a bootloop. the rest are behind it.
well yeah but i have to admit, the pink color is awesome. if it didn't have to get that damn chatgpt integration, i would ditch android. been on the edge for a while.
why would eu even care about them
i always found gnome somehow irritating to use, like the tray area popping up all of the system controls when i just want to change the sound device. or little stuff like trying to paste a file into a folder that is too full to scroll past the bottom. i can't r-click to the background, can't adjust the columns to get empty space on the side. i need to use the menu. or pause fiddling with my noodle and ctrl+v...
being followed in the forest at night is a special kind of scary. even when you know it's your imagination.
does gnome not have audio output switcher in the tray audio popup menu thingy?
default is open source nouveau driver, and it's indeed bad. i use proprietary ones and i get them by searching from the software center for "nvidia driver" and just pick the newest one. i have 3060 ti and for a long time mint was the only distro that did not give me any issues. since version 550 i can use other distros too without any problems.
RL works perfectly on linux. i play every now and then on mint.
everyone wants to be like apple
