Some Teslas have their windscreen wiper settings on the touchscreen.

How historic is this? Has there been other copyright awards based on infringement of the GPL before?

While I do agree that the fine could be higher, this is not like a US regulatory lawsuit. In the EU, fines have to be paid immediately, and Apple can appeal if it wants and may receive some of the money it paid back. Apple doesn't get to drag it out, and there are no out of court settlements that usually get the fine amount down.

Git is already distributed. Maybe there should be a way for forge software like GitLab or GitHub to fork stuff from each other via UI, but you can already do that by cloning and pushing the repo to somewhere else.

This post that you made is pro Trump.

Not engaging with the argument itself, but the guy said nothing about Trump. There exist more than two sets of opinions in the world brah. Trump can be bad, and some of his positions can be still not bad. Or not-Trump can also have shitty positions.

Politics in democracies means more than voting for the one camp or the other.

Just a few cases:

I don't hate Apple, they are behaving as a corporation does. I hate the perversion of free markets that our economies are becoming due to corruption.

Yeah, and they kill them and also some others, and some guy's wife. The guy takes up arms in revenge and the cycle continues.

It's not an open armed rebellion, it's constant terror attacks. How do you send in the military to quell a car bombing or an assassination?

In my part of the world, people grow up just fine without owning firearms. This whole gun worship is mostly a US thing.

Yeah, it feels that punishments like these are just to force conformance. How dare you do something childishly funny as a child!

They won't be a regular army doing regular army stuff like taking land and stuff. They would be like the Taliban. How did that go again for the US? The Troubles were no picnic, look it up.

It's not like armed insurgencies don't happen in modern countries. Look up the IRA. Even if you are not keen on blowing up billionaires, you can still shoot meal team six as they try to bring back lynching and the KKK.

That said, disarming the country including the police, especially the police, would be more conductive to a peaceful life. So would actual democratic representation.
