I found this https://github.com/Marie673/Torrent_Proxy

Its in chinese so idk if its whats needed but if each instance also acted as a torrent proxy then thats decentralised domain agnostic file hosting that doesnt break frontends but also allows clients to update to do resource resolution themselves while helping to serve the fediverses files as a whole.

Yeah seems designed to give more power to the large "instances" (whats it called on atproto) who can afford to aggregate the entire network.

I still dont see anything about encrypted inference this mostly looks like ways to avoid having the model retain sensitive data during its training. What i really would like to see is a way to send encrypted data off to a cloud where i can pay for inference compute then receive something i can unscramble to get the actual responce without said cloud ever havibg the raw unencrypted data.

EDIT: did some research and it seems that fully encrypted inference without leaking data via semantic meaning is possible at the small cost of making inferance 52000 times more computationally expensive. Seems more research is required.

Its so wild that domains are still country defined. And that 7 guys just have the ability to turn off all domains.

No. The expected value is that they wont but u can theoreticly "get lucky" having the random event occur at any point during the proccess of random events.

Tldr we wouldnt expect it but its still possible.
