Valve really only releases things that shake the industry up. I've been playing through Alyx for the first time this weekend and oh my god is it good.

I liked the purple prince.. Hopefully there are skin options.
Finally some good news!
Income taxes go back into services that help society. How do you expect a government to fund any of the infrastructure and services that you take for granted around you without it?
That one really pisses me off. It's such a good idea and would have been applicable to almost every game.
That's it. The Alan Wake 2 "race change" actually allows for some interesting links between Quantum Leap and the Alan Wake stories, but it was seen as a DEI situation. If a game is bad, it's generally bad for reasons beyond DEI or wokeness.
For some reason the second most followed curator on steam is Sweet Baby Inc Detected. Its pretty widespread brain rot.
As the other commenter said, time shift will save you too. Snapper built into Tumbleweed is pretty good though as well as YasT.
As an NVIDIA user, snapper has saved me multiple times.
I'm feeling a mixed reception obviously. Probably more review bombing in the negative direction by the Gamer™ crowd perceiving it as woke.
Curious to see where this one lands with people.
I love Elden Ring, but a lot of the asset work on making a game is done for the devs when they go to work on DLC. Not sure if its right to compare with games that had to make a full game from scratch. Haven't played shadow of the erdtree yet though, maybe it is transformative.
