I love that with Linux and somewhat older/underpowered computers, I can always find some software that makes it work. Things might take longer and I might have to budget myself with browser tabs a bit, but it is doable.

On the plus side, no USB-A quantum mechanics.

To underscore this, NBC did an article about the presence of self-identified Nazis and similar worst of the worst undesirables at CPAC. CPAC disputed that they were there by invitation, but it's hard to not see it as a plus that NBC is holding their feet to the fire.

I'm in favor. Expose the rot. Too much of the US citizenry doesn't understand the threat these people pose. It takes them actually showing their stripes to understand what's at stake.

Netanyahu wants to learn this the hard way.

Netanyahu knows. It's how that corrupt bastard stays in power and out of prison.

Eh... don't count on it. China has some significant weaknesses. In the short term, economic growth has slowed significantly. Debt in the private and public sector is having consequences, both in the housing market and elsewhere. In the longer term, China is aging at a faster rate than the US, both due to a low birth rate and immigration rates that are virtually nonexistent compared to the US. China's GDP is outpacing the US for now, but it's an open question how long that pace will last.

My home state of Oregon mandates a minimum wage of $13.20 in rural areas and $15.45 in the Portland metro area, and it adjusts to inflation.

I was part of that! I was on a team that made a web site that visualized the effect on poverty levels on a county-by-county basis when the minimum wage was at different levels. It made the need for a split minimum wage obvious, since the minimum wage that is necessary for metro areas is inappropriate for rural areas. Rumor has it that the legislature used it in the decision making to some degree.
