Scottish inventor Alexander Bain worked on chemical-mechanical fax-type devices and in 1846 was able to reproduce graphic signs in laboratory experiments. He received British patent 9745 on May 27, 1843, for his "Electric Printing Telegraph".

In 1880, English inventor Shelford Bidwell constructed the scanning phototelegraph that was the first telefax machine to scan any two-dimensional original, not requiring manual plotting or drawing.

I assume OP is talking about bandages on fingers, and it’s much harder to get a good seal on your fingers even with these :(

Yeah, it’s funny to see this be heralded as a good/wholesome thing when I know back on Reddit it was maligned as “power users”.

I was at work in a bank (big, sturdy, multiple stories) when we experienced a sonic boom. It was heard/felt across several counties. We thought a bomb had gone off somewhere.

That’s a big problem in makeup too! Companies want to put out “clean” and “natural” makeup but makeup isn’t typically used very quickly. Makeup with no preservatives going bad is common.

I suppose this is related to your “users are inactive” point but I also feel like it’s more common on Reddit to have multiple/alt accounts. Hell, in my time on Reddit I think I made 7+ accounts.
