Those AI companies should love fediverse then. I mean, all data here is basically open for anyone to grab. Heck, they don't even need to grab the data, just run their own instance and the federation data will flood in on its own.

Most games I currently played are affected by their decision to not implement implicit sync. I'm back to X11 until there is a solution.

I kinda doubt porn would be a problem with Sora, just like it's not a problem with Dall-e. The model is locked down in openai's servers and open source model is no where as good yet. Even if there is a comparable downloadable models, it'll be computationally expensive I doubt teens can freely run it.

If this goes well, future video compression might take a massive leap. Imagine downloading 2 hours movies with just 20kb file size because it just a bunch of prompts under the hood.
