Specially if they're touch typists and they use the Ctrl opposed to the letter key as one usually does with Shift.

Win-L and Win-R are the only combos I use.
All the while the corporations register every idea you spitballed, with the very likely outcome that they will steal whatever of use gets indexed.
Damn, that works in Windows 10 as well. Blech.
Hey, I use my menu key as Compose!
I use it as a Compose key with WinCompose.
Doesn't work in Finder.
I'd say is similar with any source control software. It's the same with me and Fossil. (And, granted, there are less plugins to support Fossil in IDEs; the one in Visual Studio Code/Codium does OK.)
Damn I hate with a passion the IDE interactions with source control software. I may make use of the visual information they give me, but I still execute the commands in the console.
