Pretty well written post.
On Kindle and epub: it's pretty annoying, but once you set up Calibre to automatically convert on sending to device, it's effortless.

No, they don't... For years now most people have considered cyberpunk to be just "rainy cityscape with neons".
But it's not that surprising, since a lot of us already do live in a cyberpunk world, except for some of the advanced technologies usually appearing in the genre.
That's not why. There's a very high chance Valve is actively working on new standalone VR since some years, there are regular leaks confirming some progress.

Yep. When I switched out my Nvidia for AMD it was as plug-and-play as it gets.
Yeah, gotta have that and all that Secure Boot with TPM bullshit, because I'm visualizing a company workstation and nothing will work without those.
Because for some reason, no matter what I try, Windows 10 desktop is laggy as hell on Qemu, and smooth out of the box on VirtualBox.

I never really compared the source to the converted mobi, but overall I can't really complain.
Usually if the formatting is a little screwed up I assume it's the source's fault. :)
Almost every book I read nowadays is an epub converted to mobi.
Honestly, the bigger issue I have is the inability to put the sideloaded books into a series "folder".
Instead I had to set Calibre to add " " string to the book tile in the metadata. :/
