For this, some people proposed to move the community from one instance to another. EDIT: It's also interesting to note that lemmy.ml is not like any other instance. In fact, it would be beneficial to not have big communities here. My account is here because it's an old account, but lemmy.ml should be more like a "testing" instance, and they probably shouldn't be signing up more people.
