Honestly the percentage of Reddit posts that Google returns which still actually retain their info is dropping substantially for me. Last few times it pulled up a Reddit post that should have my answer instead had either the question or the answers I needed deleted.

Any data transit costs money. Both in the data transit itself and in the increased server resources to respond to the web queries in the first place.

That’s why you download it. Luckily iTunes m4a files are high quality and unlocked so I can instantly play them in anything, even my Synology apps.

Video isn’t the same though. That’s all still encrypted.

As someone who tossed 1k hrs into PC1, and half that into Planet Zoo, I’m pretty stoked about this announcement. Everyone asked for Planet Waterpark, so now we get both in one package. Hopefully they’ve been able to address some of the pain points of the first one and add in what was learned from Planet Zoo and make a polished result here, but time will tell.

Also, hoping they continue the history of having solid soundtracks!

All I really want is for it to be thinner and run longer. Seriously, it does everything I’d ever need in a watch except for being thick as hell and needing charging once a day.

I know a few people in their 40’s with varying stages of arthritis. I’m hopeful for post 70’s as well, but it’s not looking too good.

The same kids who need a secure line of communication with authorities and aid workers and councilors and places to report the abuse and.. you get the idea. Those kids would NOT have liked this at all.

Definitely the free space on my bingo card as well.

Hoverboards weren’t the same as desired either. This timeline kinda sucks.

So, does PiHole work against this threat? I don’t believe I’ve seen an ad on Windows 11 yet on my desktop, but it’s firmly behind a PiHole and never leaves the house (because desktop)… so either I’m lucky, missing something, or it’s working.

I mean, I basically just boot it up to game and backup CDs to FLAC and such, so maybe I’m just missing things.

And Yes, as someone who has used linux since 1995, I know I can probably do those things in Linux at this point, but I couldn’t when I set it up and since it’s working I’ve got other things higher on my list to do.
