Honestly if you think about it. The cost of your meal going up and the cost of tipping are not different in their end result for the consumer.

The employee still gets the short end because people won't always tip. Or even show up.

The owner gets the long (?) end because they don't have to pay their workers a higher wage (very bad if it's a slow day) and the customers who otherwise wouldn't have eaten there if the prices were high will still eat there and not tip.

So it really doesn't effect the consumer at all but it does effect the employee quite a bit for sure.

It can be a political decision tbh.

Ehh it kinda does considering you can get a pretty full compiler tool chain running via termux.

Ironic because it's not unusual for cops to not wear seatbelts but they are more likely to die in a single vehicle accident then a gun fight.

The bullet proof vests really get me. They are so heavy and unlikely to be nessesary but some cops wear them ever day just to LARP.

Realistically with the new apple M-series stuff this is just not the case. The battery life is absolutely nuts. Especially compared to high end Linux laptops.

Idk if this is a joke but Linux is not a brand.

Blows my mind that people just deal with ads.

For sure. Probably should be really.

FWIW windows 11 has tabs in the file explorer. You could technically also install a Linux for browser via WSL.

I honestly doubt that works. If Reddit really has a blacklist of keywords it's almost certainly accounting for this kind of thing.
