seems like it depends on the region? my Samsung gen 5 tv with region set to Ukraine displays zero ads in the Smart Hub thingy even tho I'm logged onto my Samsung account and connected it to the internet (I'm not actually using the "smart" features tho, I'm using an hdmi feed from a Mi Box S)

huh i wonder, if the answer is "yes" or "somewhat yes" is it a valid alternative to replacing the power supply in my tv?
i got one for free with a busted psu, but the power supply board is extremely rare (i only ever saw two listings of it, one on AliExpress and one on ebay, both just one piece left and for higher price than a new used tv; similar boards are like 5 times cheaper)
basically, unless i could find an alternative solution like that, I'm throwing it away

well gog games can be safely pirated because the executables you're getting are signed with their digital signature.
it's much less morally correct tho, especially because most of the games published on gog are indie games, but if you have literally no money to spend (like I used to) there aren't any better options

duh it's not surprising, generative ai sucks at generating multiple objects with conflicting traits. e.g. if you ask it to generate a white cat and an orange cat, it's very likely to fail.
