I genuinely dont understand this. On time my friend bought an rtx 3060 (was using rx580).

I asked "oh cool, whay new games are you gonna play?". She said "none, I'm just gonna play the same ones". I asked "what was wrong with the old card?" And she said "idk just felt like I need a new one." We play games like tf2...

I just don't get this type of behaviour. She also has like 14 pairs of sneakers.

The pessimist in me asks "will we ever have the chance?".

By the time we "wake up" would we even have the opportunity to do anything about it? Or just accept it like other rising costs like, rent and food, because let's be honest, technology is a necessity.

Even if you are completely closed of from AI as a profession, there are still way more possibilities, even in the same general field(computer science).

Even then you could go through a career change. He looks like hes in his 20s or 30s which isnt late at all.

Don't even know why they think rebranding it will work

People aren't stupid. Referring to shit with another word doesnt make it any less gross.

As always, Microsoft is always one step behind apple.

At least apple intelligence was a little clever, its abbreviation is still "AI"

But windows intelligence? That just sounds fucking stupid. As an operating system windows is not known for its intelligence. Stupid slow, bloated, spying sack of shit software.

Thats why I feel so bad for that poster recently that said ai was the only friend he had and liked. He never understood what a friendship is. They aren't just yes-men that approve of every single decision and beliefs. Their individuality and unique opinions keep your judgment clear and offer you different perspectives on matters.

Its because there's no accountability for cybercrimes. If humans always had a button to burn down libraries, I'm sure they would have. Instead they had to put themselves in harms way to do such things.

People do things cause they can, and fucking with Wikipedia is apparently simple.

I use a wok and I wish I could use it for everything. I love that little damn thing to bits. I have only seasoned it twice (removed the previous one due to rust) and it can fry an egg fine.

It handles soap, tomatoes and other acidic foods fine as well. Didn't use any fancy oil, just avocado oil.

My mom's 300$ tephlon pans don't even last more than 8 months without getting nicks. My Lil fella is 15 years old.

They want to brainwash into using expensive, disposable, products.

God its so useless

I have many interests, if not too many. From cooking, woodwork and computers. Many of my friends are academically very successful but are frankly painfully boring and I sometimes feel isolated around them.

I like to cook when they hang at my house, I'll try to teach them how, some basic tips, etc. As soon as I glanced towards them again I realized they walked off.

This summarizes a lot of our interactions. As we get to a topic I understand and can speak passionately about, they sort of turn off. They talk to each other fine, but it's often internet drama, school drama or sports.

I'm not in college\classes and it seems almost impossible to meet others, especially others that are interesting and curious. I find myself bonding most to adults but it's isolating I can't find others my age.

I think that if an outright war is raging in the comments, let it run it's course. All parties are willing participants, free to disengage at any moment.

The exceptions should be when illegal content is being shared or illegal activity is occurring (CP, doxxing, etc).

It's always frustrating when a juicy argument gets locked because it's "unproductive". I was having a great time watching it unfold, both sides hurling both creative and uncreative insults, oblivious to how low they are sinking to. It's great!
