A manager. This tool is for what managers think software development is: managing the production of code. From that perspective this hype makes a lot of sense, just turn all your current developers into managers with AI and you now have grown the team by 10x. You can go back in time and find many jokes about how adding more developers doesn't speed up delivery but slows it down. I don't see how AI would suddenly make that less true, especially since the AI is not accountable for its results, you are.

Meh, you both deserve each other honestly. Too concerned with being right that we all lost focus of what is good.
I would march too, it's too easy to satire the movement. Signs like "Bill Gates did nothing wrong on Epstein's Island" or "Peter Thiel is not a vampire" seem like a good fit for the event.
But you don't understand that they're talking about systems while you're talking about personal choice.
Big picture is AI not being able to operate under unusual conditions means that the "10 times better" (if it were only true) has a big fucking caveat where we can't say the stat will hold true if we replace all drivers.
I think more want to be "influencers" because they don't have any relatives that can give them a small multi-million dollar loan.
For this to be practical you need to audit and control the code the runs in the data center. I think that was a hangup with some Chinese based services that offered to host in the EU.
