My wife and I are doing a semi open thing too. It works for us because we aren't into all the same things and recognize that we would be more fulfilled

As someone who'd be more monogamous, this is good to hear. I'm glad you both found each other and are able to give each other the space you both want.

There's nothing wrong with open relationships for as long as both parties feel comfortable about it and what it entails for each side (including the other, well, finding partners).

When it becomes a shitshow of toxic masculinity, this really becomes an issue.
