Okay now China just needs to not sell and then in April we can sue Google and Apple out of existence right?
They are already fucked as they are technically in violation of the law. They have 5 years to fuck em for it. Trumps has said he won't fuck em. He on y has 4 years tho.
You make a good point. Trump will be out in 4 years and the new gov could possibly charge them then.
E: Trump could probably pardon them if they asked.
I think they would still be open to civil liability, for services that compete with TikTok or anybody who could claim harm came from companies refusal to follow the law.
