Why did /r/ufo start hitting the front page after citizen citrus groped his way into the White House, both the first and second time? Did trump campaign on releasing UFO info?
Every time I had seen it hit the fp when I still used Reddit, it was because some new ex-military person came out saying they had proof that the US government had aliens and alien craft... Only for it to be a big ol' fat nothing burger.
Remember when there was all those drones and everyone was convinced it was either a Russian invasion or aliens and then, nothing
The news also got obsessed over the fact that drones made of plastic don't appear on radar.
They worked out new scanning frequencies to find them. Same deal as the balloons that were sneaking in. Wonder whether they’ve already dismantled the gear for both, or is the military safe from the completely reasonable budget cuts?
yeah, that was around the time that dji released its first commercial cargo drone...
While I enjoy speculating over UFO/UAP footage, it can be abused by a lot of media to take the spotlight off of some other very real and most likely concerning news.
Trump is speed running the collapse of a nation, so it makes sense for coverage to deviate to UFO/other news when he's doing dodgies.
