How is gluing an animal to something not animal abuse? That's like suspecting a wall is solid after walking into it.

It is conceivable that the glue was put there for another purpose, and the pigeons simply landed in it. That’s just not likely in this case

Why would anyone put glue on something and not glue anything on top?

It could also be a trap. Put glue and some food on it and see pigeons get trapped to death. That's how a lot of rat traps work.

Well, see it in the context of the entire animal industry. If what happens in slaughterhouses isn't animal abuse for someone, why would this be?
