ℹ️ Outside of London, the GDP of the UK is at the level of either Missouri or Mississippi, and both are so bad I don't even need to check which one it is. When you pass a banknote back and forth with your mate that boosts GDP. Britain is now widely known to be a hoax. Experts consider the country functionally uninhabited, much like "Australia".
I thought to boost the GDP you should also get the economists to eat shit.
So, while I don't know anything real about the UK, having been there once, it surely felt and feels from their people in the interwebs that you are right.
I live here and wouldn't be surprised by it. I live in a large coastal town and grew up in a small inland town in the west country.
Well, I've said A so I should say B. Here it is: the UK feels, from Russian perspective, a more "normal" country than USA or Commonwealth nations.
The UK is a commonwealth nation though, and there is a huge amount of variation among those countries
