I'm glad about this because I just game on Linux now, and this attitude means they're less likely to sabotage things to specifically fail through Wine/Proton, but as a business, I imagine this only really works if they have good products that are clearly better than their competition, and they just aren't.
If it wont run on linux I don't play it.
