RE4 was definitely a pivot toward a more action based game than its predecessors. It's probably my favorite but I still consider the RE2 remake a better game overall. Maybe a perfect game honestly.

Resident evil 2, both versions, was so great.

When the remake game out, I beat it 5x in a row just to play each character first and second and then another time with infinite ammo or whatever it is that’s unlocked.
