Not only that, but Trump's spending people's goodwill towards our service members. I'm sure they're not held in high regard here, but many Americans greatly respect their service members. That's slipping now.

There are times the military must refuse government orders. That time is now for USA.

Him wearing merch during dignified transfer pissed off a lot of people. Fox aired footage of a previous transfer where he wasn't wearing merch and had to correct it and apologize. Even a few of his cult members are starting to notice

I mean it's a grey area there... I think the overall propoganda created after vietnam (Rambo movies etc...), helped people learn to seperate and understand that a war can be wrong, and the soldiers can be good people serving their country.

IE maybe it's the bubbles I live in, and most these memories are pre-trump, but I heard no shortage of people that could go off for hours on how horrible the war on terror was, how stupid and monsterous bush was to send so many to kill and be killed, and still go out of their way to say "thank you for your service" to men coming back from iraq.

I know many people who chose to enlist or go to officer school. Every single one of them is a huge piece of shit that gets off on the thought of hurting others.

I haven't spoken to him recently, and I no longer use Facebook which was the way I spoke to him in the past, but the only military person going for office school I was friends with was a boom operator on a refueling aircraft. Maybe that's why I never experienced any bloodlust from him. Mostly if we discussed his service it was about the boom, about physical training he has to do anyway, etc.
