There is no draft. They volunteered to kill others.

[–] JasonDJ@lemmy.zip 30 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah but have you seen the Dow?

[–] BoJackHorseman@lemmy.today 21 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Yeah it's on the screen. It's below 50k so child rape is no longer legal

I think that just means up to a certain age is still legal. Eating babies is definitely off the table now.

There's going to be many more deaths with a ground invasion.

[–] null@lemmy.org 9 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

At least nobody is taking about those times Trump raped those girls anymore, right?

[–] 100_kg_90_de_belin@feddit.it 4 points 5 hours ago

Since people would start talking about them if the war stopped, the USA are going to run out of countries to wage war against.

I'm not ruling out Trump threatening some EU country directly, not over a territory such as Greenland

[–] Sickos@hexbear.net 14 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

RIP Sgt. Dow Jones, a true american hero

[–] ClathrateG@hexbear.net 7 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

That's Dowseph Jones to you

[–] Sickos@hexbear.net 3 points 5 hours ago

Up there with Sleve McDichael and Mike Truk.

[–] Zerush@lemmy.ml 4 points 4 hours ago

Not so symphatic ones, sadly more the ones of this type

The 24 hour news cycle and the killing of collective conciousness must be studied, some day.

[–] obinice@lemmy.world 59 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

They killed the man himself, Dow Jones!

[–] ordnance_qf_17_pounder@reddthat.com 18 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Why is nobody talking about this? Dow Jones was one of the most well known figures in contemporary USA and now he's gone 😢

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 4 points 7 hours ago

I heard he was just up over 50 thousand too. Poor guy.

[–] TheSlad@sh.itjust.works 12 points 7 hours ago

I think his name was Mike Wazowski

[–] happybadger@hexbear.net 37 points 9 hours ago (1 children)
[–] ordnance_qf_17_pounder@reddthat.com 18 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Who hates the troops more? Fediverse leftists or the Trump administration?

[–] happybadger@hexbear.net 29 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

shrug-outta-hecks If I had my way they'd be doing anything else with their lives and have a free education to achieve it because we aren't funding the military. Trump had his way and they were blown up to do insider trading and distract from his paedophilia.

[–] ordnance_qf_17_pounder@reddthat.com 25 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Younger people still being alive and getting an education? Is this the America that the radical left wants? 😤

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 15 points 7 hours ago

Yes, and publicly funded.

[–] ToastedRavioli@midwest.social 10 points 7 hours ago

The dow is over 45k, so its okay! /s

[–] Ilixtze@lemmy.ml 18 points 8 hours ago

There is enough space under the rest of the names for a nice CHILLI'S Banner.

[–] brownsugga@lemmy.world 6 points 6 hours ago

So we should rename the files the Trump files, and this can be called the Epstein War

[–] wildcardology@lemmy.world 28 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

At least the DOW is up 50K

[–] HowAbt2day@futurology.today 25 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Trump qualified these types of people a certain way but I can’t recall at the moment.

[–] My_IFAKs___gone@lemmy.world 10 points 8 hours ago

Luckers and soosers.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 5 points 6 hours ago

Well they can't say they haven't seen thr Dow this time

[–] sudoer777@lemmy.ml 3 points 6 hours ago

The Dow the Dow right now, is over 50 thou

[–] digitalFatteh@lemmy.ca 26 points 10 hours ago

Imagine, fighting for the orange leader, that lifted sanctions on a country supplying military intel to the country you’re actively attacking and then laying down your life for said leader.

Incompetence from top to bottom. But at least the Administration is cheering it on behind closed doors.

[–] orioler25@lemmy.world 4 points 6 hours ago

Well deserved.

[–] derry@midwest.social 9 points 8 hours ago

Sacrifices will be made

Not only that, but Trump's spending people's goodwill towards our service members. I'm sure they're not held in high regard here, but many Americans greatly respect their service members. That's slipping now.

[–] freebee@sh.itjust.works 3 points 6 hours ago

There are times the military must refuse government orders. That time is now for USA.

[–] Saprophyte@lemmy.world 8 points 8 hours ago

Him wearing merch during dignified transfer pissed off a lot of people. Fox aired footage of a previous transfer where he wasn't wearing merch and had to correct it and apologize. Even a few of his cult members are starting to notice

[–] TheFogan@programming.dev 2 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I mean it's a grey area there... I think the overall propoganda created after vietnam (Rambo movies etc...), helped people learn to seperate and understand that a war can be wrong, and the soldiers can be good people serving their country.

IE maybe it's the bubbles I live in, and most these memories are pre-trump, but I heard no shortage of people that could go off for hours on how horrible the war on terror was, how stupid and monsterous bush was to send so many to kill and be killed, and still go out of their way to say "thank you for your service" to men coming back from iraq.

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 2 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

I know many people who chose to enlist or go to officer school. Every single one of them is a huge piece of shit that gets off on the thought of hurting others.

[–] chatokun@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 5 hours ago

I haven't spoken to him recently, and I no longer use Facebook which was the way I spoke to him in the past, but the only military person going for office school I was friends with was a boom operator on a refueling aircraft. Maybe that's why I never experienced any bloodlust from him. Mostly if we discussed his service it was about the boom, about physical training he has to do anyway, etc.

Then their memorial goes picture in picture for

"And a little bit of Chicken Fried"

[–] Bloomcole@lemmy.world 3 points 7 hours ago

that's why I prefer print.
I don't want to spit on my screen

Get this Nazi website link the fuck outta here.

[–] EmpathicVagrant@lemmy.world 2 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

[–] mistermodal@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

If you spin up your own Nitter instance, you can follow him via RSS. That seems completely within the technical expertise of Lemmitors. Also, you can use a Invidious RSS feed as public instances often still allow that, since Youtube is also a Nazi bar like the entirety of western social media. By posting this here I am making it easier for people to avoid browsing either website. Weird to pick a fight over Twitter on the least-Nazi account you can find in it anywhere lol

We can distill the whole history and idea of the usa into three simple words..."Sell! Sell! Sell!"
