It's crazy how Iran deciding to start taking fees for shipping is a blockade, when the entire national business models of Singapore and Panama hinge on their ability to do exactly this.
No no, you see, if the middle east does it then it's terrorism. If we or anyone we like does it then it's the free market.
Agreed on Singapore, but Panama is a little different. There is infrastructure and labor that needs to be done to transit.
