So far Asha Sharma seems to be making all the right moves, but for a company like Microsoft I cant help but think there is an ulterior motive that will disappoint the community. I'm already seeing rumors the next Halo installment will be an extraction shooter. The success of a console is measured by its games. Xbox doesnt have to be better than the PS5/6 or Switch, it just has to do better than it has been and give us great games.
Have you heard if it is going to have a campaign or not?
Not a clue. Just that 343 studios stopped progressing on the next title potentially being a battle royale and instead will be an extraction shooter. It says "mainline" halo game. Im going to say it won't have a campaign, but it will probably be tied to the overall story progression or exist in the current timeline.
I’ve also heard rumors they’re redoing halo 2 and 3 in unreal. It has me wondering if they will do a soft reboot and make a new trilogy 4-6 that actually has a coherent story
Thanks bud.
Doesn't matter what these games would be like, all I care about at this stage is if all those games devs will get fired yet again after successful or unsuccessful launch of these games.
XboX has a long road ahead to regain any trust from me.
