Scotland Yard are saying that unless they're allowed to spend £50m on Palantir, they'll have to reduce officer numbers? I can't see their logic.
"If you don't let us expand the police state we'll reduce the police state even further"
This... sounds like a win-win? Oh no, not fewer police and no palantir....
It's just a way to pressure dumbass politicians into agreeing to give them the money.
