But, parents are at least as addicted as their kids.

Parents are worse.

When I was a Facebook user, everyone who had babies would post photo albums of their rugrats.

Like, cool, you just gave Zuck and co your family memories. I bet their kids will love the lack of respect their parents had for their privacy.

Yeah, it's like I understand people being proud of their kids, but you're just 1) making content for a corporate platform 2) weaving the dark patterns of network effects deep into the branches of your own damn family tree.

I would argue the parents are in many cases more addicted than their kids. I find the most egregious users of social media in my life is not my friends kids, it's not my nephews or nieces. It's their parents and in my nephews and nieces cases I can tell it is also the grandparents.

I have been nearly forgotten by some in my family because I don't have a facebook account even.
