Now I'm no political expert, but "black people will actively vote the Nazis back into power because they want sneakers" just doesn't quite sound accurate to me... Maybe I'm missing something here?

Can you be sure though? We really just don't know how WW2 would have turned out had Adolf rolled out a line of slick high-top basketball shoes.
It would have been economical too, as after killing the wearers he could regift them.
In all seriousness, there's something darkly hilarious to the notion of a bunch of racists trying to take over the country ending up foiled by the inaccuracy of their own dearly held stereotypes.

I mean at this point in the timeline I wouldn't be surprised if this actually happens. Not because of racism, but because humans in general always do the stupidest possible thing at any given opportunity.
