I mean, it's clearly in the US from the road style and the license plates. I'm just saying that that particular driver might be British.

Only an hour ago, I was going through a very similar motorway crossing the mountains here in the French Alps. The only American element in this picture, to me, is that car.

I was really thinking that it wasn't the UK, but in terms of France, you guys have different road markings, yes? The image has a solid white line bounding the outer lane of traffic, and you guys use dashed lines.

That's not really what US license plates look like though... the shape, yeah, but not the lettering shape and size (nevermind that it appears to be in Klingon).

I mean, the lettering is mangled, but it's using the US license plate proportions.

If you look at the UK, they use the European-style long and narrow license plates.

Right, the shape is fine, but the letters of the plate number would be much larger.
