So much muscle it confidently rides on the wrong side of the road.

A ninety year old man is driving home on the highway when his phone rings. He answers it and it's his wife, terribly upset.

She says "Milton, for God's sake, he careful! I'm watching the news and it says some lunatic is driving on the wrong side of the highway, against traffic!"

Milton replies, "It's not just one lunatic, Mildred, there's dozens of them out here!"

Makes me think it’s AI.

Edit: it’s missing the steering wheel. And the license plate looks sleep deprived… it’s ai.

Yay, I'm not the only one posting cars!

Someone had a little too much whiskey.

They might just be British.

[–] zeppo@lemmy.world 3 points 11 months ago (1 children)

You can see cars on the other side going the same direction though.

I mean, it's clearly in the US from the road style and the license plates. I'm just saying that that particular driver might be British.

Only an hour ago, I was going through a very similar motorway crossing the mountains here in the French Alps. The only American element in this picture, to me, is that car.

I was really thinking that it wasn't the UK, but in terms of France, you guys have different road markings, yes? The image has a solid white line bounding the outer lane of traffic, and you guys use dashed lines.

That's not really what US license plates look like though... the shape, yeah, but not the lettering shape and size (nevermind that it appears to be in Klingon).

[–] tal@lemmy.today 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I mean, the lettering is mangled, but it's using the US license plate proportions.

If you look at the UK, they use the European-style long and narrow license plates.

[–] zeppo@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

Right, the shape is fine, but the letters of the plate number would be much larger.

Oh! Now I see it
