I know he makes a big thing about being Irish and Ireland has a long history of viewing Israel's actions as akin to the oppression they suffered under the British. So saying Irish and Zionist in the same sentence is almost like saying Ireland is part of Britain. Jaysus can you imagine how insulting that is ๐Ÿ˜†. Yet he just sat there and grinned.

There might be more proponents on the Democrat side for a ceasefire.... but let's be realistic..... the US isn't going to stop Israeli aggression.

Listen, not to generalize a large group of people... but Irish-Americans are a strange bunch. The mix of Catholic guilt and American exceptionalism I have experienced in that demographic of my friends/classmates is definitely something I think about more than I probably should.
