Posts must be:

  1. Links to news stories from...
  2. ...credible sources, with...
  3. ...their original headlines, that...
  4. ...would make people who see the headline think, “That has got to be a story from The Onion, America’s Finest News Source.”

Comments must abide by the server rules for Lemmy.world and generally abstain from trollish, bigoted, or otherwise disruptive behavior that makes this community less fun for everyone.

If there’s a market for christian shit i’m sure he’ll capture it, but i’m sure they will focus on what sells.

If the target audience is the evangelicals everything will be rated PG at most and it will conform to right wing echo chamber politics and scruples. This sounds like a "Disney is too woke so let's do it ourselves" proposal. It might succeed with that audience but they can't go beyond it or those people throw a fit. And the market is too crowded to try to do what the other streamers do. It will be filled with Hallmark level Christmas movies and tame/lame rip offs of other studios content.
