It won't be too long before it's this AND the mess they make every time they eat.

Prioritize an easy to clean high chair don't make my mistake.

Also if you got the money to spare a wet dry vacuum is a life saver when your kid barfs I the middle of the night.

Ours got daily use for the various messes the kid and cats would make.

We just got over a stomach bug. Everything had puke on it. We still haven't caught up with the laundry...

if first time dad, just focus on caring for the mother for the first few months, newborns only have a few needs, and not much else, they can't even see properly.

Load it up from the top with milk, clean it from the bottom with clean nappies, done.

Keep it warm.

Thank you, friend! Yes, first little bundle of joy in our lives. It's been quite the wild ride.

This. I had my children about two years apart, so laundry was overwhelming for about four years. Until they are potty trained and the spit up stops, you will be doing several loads of laundry each day. I eventually began to wash everyone’s clothes together, with Dreft to save time and electricity. It made my life easier.
