Windows 11 has been a big wake up call for consumers.

I think Microsoft Recall is the breaking point.

Nah, lots of press right now and I. 6 months to a year when they retry releasing it people will forget and just let it happen.

For some users. I have a feeling windows 11 won’t effect the amount of people using windows much at all

A lot of people are locked into windows from the perspective of their employment.

For now, yes. But as more enterprise software (like ERPs) move to the cloud, client-side software will become less and less required. Even Microsoft office is pushing cloud apps. The end result of this, in its current trajectory, is that it won't matter what OS a client has, so long as it has a supported web browser.

Also the rise of containerised software that is more easily cross platform for self hosting what would once have been cloud only.

Oh, ok then. I trust you now.

Fuck meta to death. If you’ve got old pics left over there etc time to delete. But probably too late knowing how shady they are

If you put it on Facebook it's no longer personal data. Don't put personal data on a data miners website...

Ok then Microsoft.
