Does anyone know what this one does different than wargroove? Not bashing, just generally interested

Wargroove introduces hero units and changes a few mechanics to speed the game up, but this appears to be more meat and potatoes Advance Wars without Nintendo.

I would say Id play the heck out of this but If Im being honest I have every single advanced wars ever made at home and never touch them.
