Yeah but it’s dead now
Apparently the announcement was made in stealth mode.
What better way to advertise your clandestine movie than with clandestine marketing?
We live in the weirdest timelines.
Sonic revitalised video game adaptions.
But splinter cell, arguably one of the easiest things to adapt (style wise) gets merced.
I have a feeling it's because zany animated movies are an easier sell to kids.
i mean im a smoothbrain but, i think splinter cell would probably be equally cheap to make since you have so much less cgi youd need
dunno about budget, I'm just taking in terms of the demand for these types of movies.
yeah, thats fair
Anything Splinter Cell without Michael Ironside's voice would be weird.
All I want is a final proper send-off Splinter Cell before he dies. Sam Fisher's final job type vibe. I think there is some cool potential there - not that I trust Ubisoft to pull it off, mind.
And not including Sam Fisher would also be weird.
Like the Splinter Cell books? (At least the first one).
Edit: nevermind, I'm so wrong. It starts with a different agent at chapter 1 that threw me off but the entire book is focused on Sam Fisher.
I never read any of the books, I kind of fell off of Clancy quite a while ago. Worth reading?
I only read the first one so far. It's alright but they're not written by Clancy sadly.
Oh well, can't be disappointed about something I didn't even know was in the works lol
Do kids nowadays even know what Splinter Cell is?
I bet it's a major reason why they decided to drop it.
Unless they'd pair it with a new game. Wasn't the last one over 10 years ago?
I doubt it.
People in their 20s are familiar will Splinter Cell classics like Splinter Cell Conviction.
OOF. that's considered a classic now? 🪦
I have the artbook lying around my place somewhere...
My favorite part was the Afghanistan level.
Lol the least splinter cell like level in the series(still a fun level)
I want a remake of Pandora Tomorrow. I got it for free with my graphics card back in the day but it only ran on windows XP for some weird reason and was hard to remaster or the source code was lost. I haven't played it in fifteen years but I have fond memories
Doubtful. But that could let it be an r rated or high pg13 option.
The last game came out over a decade ago so the youngest audience would have to be 20 plus. Might as well take the opportunity to make it r-rated.
You could say that it splintered??
Is the Michael Bay Skibidi Toilet adaptation still coming though?
