By equating these two countries and their horrible crimes you are severely downplaying what happened in the Holocaust.
You are severely downplaying what happens in Gaza and to Palestinians.

I don’t think the Palestinians of Gaza give two shits about what Europeans did to Jews 80 years ago. All that a father burying bits and pieces of his young children who have been obliterated by an Israeli missile is concerned about, is that Israelis murdered his family and are exterminating his people.
How does equating two European ethno-supremacist entities and their horrible crimes downplay what happened in the Holocaust?
Arguably the latter lunatic European ethno-supremacist cancer entity plaguing West Asia is worse, but there are way too many similarities between the two to dismiss the idea of equating the two.

One side is committing genocide.
The other side are an oppressed people fighting for their basic human rights.
Yes, there are civilian deaths on both sides, and that is lamentable. But to imply that it is anywhere near an equal conflict or that both sides are anywhere near equally to blame is completely ignorant of the facts.

So true! Germany declared war on the entire world and brought destruction to Europe while carrying out a genocide! Israel only declared war on the entire middle East and destroys them while carrying out a genocide!
You've traded in German supremacy for European supremacy...the same thing your government did, hence why they support European occupation and genocide of the middle East.
Germany's support for Israel shows that Germany learned nothing from the tragedy of the Holocaust.
The Holocaust teaches us that genocide and mass murder are wrong and evil. Yet modern German government supports Israel in comitting genocide against Palestinians.
There will be another memorial in Berlin 50 years from now, commemorating the Palestinians that were killed in the genocide Germany supported.
Germany learned plenty. They learned, for example, that by doing your atrocities in service of the hegemon you'll be rewarded. What wasn't okay was doing them while attempting to become the hegemon.
Germany learned that everything else they did was fine and ok, except that Jewish people are off limits.
