They abruptly parted, looked for space to duck and then tried to hide their faces. The woman beside them was seen grinning, with her hand on her face. Cabot turned her face away to stay out of sight. The Story

It was as simple as donโ€™t react and theyโ€™d be fine but they couldnโ€™t help it

Think you're wrong there. It might not have gone viral, but in no galaxy or dimension that would ended just fine ........ If I had my arms around a collegua like that no kind of explanation would be accepted at home.

The footage still has to make it home to be seen. Just because something is recorded does not mean that every person will eventually see it. Most jumbotron footage is boring, people generally do not seek it out for casual entertainment. It very likely would be lost had it not gone viral.

And what are the odds your spouse is going to see or hear about two people on cam for 5 seconds during a Coldplay's break between songs? Have you EVER seen any little kiss cam footage from a Coldplay concert when you weren't at the show? It became known because the singer of Coldplay called them out and said it looked like they were having an affair with how they acted.

I mean if it hadn't gone viral there's at least a chance it wouldn't have made it back to the wife.

I mean by that logic just going to the game would have outed them, as hundreds of fans saw them together... Unless I'm missing something, was this cold play concert long term televised or something?

Bottom line is, would this be in a position that anyone who knew who he was, would have seen? Unless the recording was something super substantial that say tens of thousands would have noted it in his home town or office, or millions world wide to the point where there's a reasonable chance that his wife or someone who knows the family would have been able to call him out, it probably wouldn't have gone anywhere.

If they didn't be awkward about it, no one would have known who they are

Oh yes, lets cry for billionaires. I have SO MANY tears to give them. I am going to bet she finds comfort ...in ALL she has, and will get.

Neither of them are billionaires anymore.

They're just two-comma plebs now.

[โ€“] Mediocre_Bard@lemmy.world 1 points 22 hours ago

We'll have to rebrand Tres Commas.

[โ€“] BlameTheAntifa@lemmy.world 19 points 4 days ago

How does one join this โ€œpleb with hundreds of millions of dollarsโ€ club?

[โ€“] crankyrebel@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 4 days ago (1 children)

LOL, common plebs with half-a billion each.

After lawyer fees it's probably be under 500 million which is zero if you round it.

I love a good shit on a lawyer dig, bravo!

I had no idea who these people were, and I still read the entire article. The photo is so mysterious.
