This community is mostly for discussion and news. Remember to search for the thing you're submitting before posting to see if it's already been posted.
We want to keep the quality of posts high. Therefore, memes, funny videos, low-effort posts and reposts are not allowed. We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise.
5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW
Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.
No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.
6. No linking to piracy
Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

Got astrobot for my son and GoW for myself.
Other than that it was useless and both of those are not enough to stay. Finally committed to building a linux gaming setup.
…and so it fucking should; the more pain average Americans feel, the better - honestly.
We are less than 8 months into this administration, and they are already doing their damnedest to rat-fuck the elections in an effort to fully seize power for at least a generation and remake the nation in their own twisted vision.
The last chance left to stop this takeover is the 2026 midterms, and the GOP are already pulling out all of the stops to stop that from happening:
- Gerrymandering the absolute shit out of Texas
- Closing polling booths in locations likely to vote against the GOP
- Imposing voter identification laws to further disenfranchise ‘undesirables’
- Rail against mail-in ballots to further suppress turnout
Hopefully the dam breaks and inflation well and truly begins to run away - so that the majority of the population feel the impact of this President’s policies to their wallets, and vote out his lapdogs and lackeys.
If not, then the nation and its people are truly lost and more expensive consoles are going to be the least of your worries.
Midterms will be cancelled
It's cute that people still think voting will help.
Not just tariffs, but Trump is trying his damnedest to add more inflationary pressure to the economy by firing the people who are keeping interest rates high, counteracting the tariffs.
I'll do this analyst's job for half the pay
Back in my day, console prices went down as they aged. This is the first time I've been thrilled to get one early, but sad because this sucks...
They can keep the fucking thing with all of these dogshit "AAA" games that come out half baked and/or dark pattern tricks to try and fuck you out of even more money. I'm glad I never bothered with Diablo 4 or POE 2.
bruh you speak nonsense. there is no company like GGG (maker of PoE) when it comes to fairness, dedication to their fans, dedication to their core values and ideas of what an ARPG should be and both games are free (poe 2 will be free on full release) but yea fuck blizzard
