Isn't that the whole point of Windows 11? Mass surveillance of your userbase? 🤔

Yes, those people are not serious at all, don't they know that Microsoft is anonymizing all the data. For any data point, they can't tell who or even where it was. Even the screenshots and audio recordings only have anonymous tracking IDs, they don't store date, or your exact name or any other metadata. They know how important privacy is to their users and that it would be crazy to use the automatic update system for anything other than installing security patches.

Nothing like that exists, mate.

The Recall thing is local-only, nothing is being tracked or sent to MS. How do we know that? Because there's about a billion security engineers poring over every single bit of data sent out by Windows since the introduction of Recall.

They know how important privacy is to their users and that it would be crazy to use the automatic update system for anything other than installing security patches

They told us journalism is dead, but they have really just driven it underground and made us uncomfortable to listen to it because it sounds like crazy talk compared to the rotten corporate media. Until the crazy talk keeps happening and evidence keeps piling up until it finally turns out to be true. Support your local crazy person today. They may simply be a rogue journalist in disguise.
