An alien who isn't being harassed, arrested, detained without due process and disappeared in a foreign concentration camp by ICE is newsworthy!

Still probably safer than my 65 Mustang.

the "saucer car" was "designed and built... from a cut down 1991 Geo Metro".

Maybe not....

At least the geo has a driver’s airbag, crumple zones, disk breaks, shoulder belts, and dash and steering wheel that won’t turn your face into ground chuck, and a rear gas tank that only a Pinto would love.

Drums in the rear, if I remember right. And power nothing. Old friend of a friend had one and I got to drive it for curiosity's sake.

A family member who did fatal accident reconstruction would quip that 'technically yes, but the crumple zone involves you'.

Oh yeah, I’m not saying they’re safe, I’m just saying the my classic car is a really cool looking death trap.

I ended up totally updating the breaks with disks because I was tired of starting a block away to stop at a red light.
