They don't care, false positives boost arrest numbers. That's the whole reason they've using it, more quantity, not quality.
The inaccuracy is a feature - if you want to really terrorise a population, add a bit of randomness to your violence.
Deport anyone they feel like. Blame the app and "AI" when the damage is done.
We've always known how flawed all these "facial recognition" stuff is at least partially on purpose.
