I have to admit that Merz is a huge disappointment on this issue.
Defending an illegal war with numerous war crimes committed against Iran and in Gaza, and standing basically alone in EU/Europe, where just about every political leader have denounced the war. It is also only Germany that is allowing the use of their bases for the war!
He was a huge fucking disappointment to any progressive german from the get go. The last huzzah of classic conservatism before the political radicalization gives us actual fascists next.
