I don't give a shit about that. OP misused a Picard quote. Completely unacceptable.

Quote taken completely out of context.

The context is that a partial descendant of an enemy species (Romulans) was the victim of a witch hunt. He was half human and a starfleet officer. He had lived in the federation his whole life.

A real world equivalent example to that would be banning Americans with Russian ancestry that were born in America and lived in America their whole lives from contributing.

That is not what's happening here. You are arguing in bad faith. Picard would be perfectly fine with preventing Romulans in the Romulan Empire from accessing/modifying sensitive technology.

Getting fired with cause doesn't come with severance and looks bad on a resume.

I'd call it a load of bullshit.

There isn't a mathematical definition of a voice.

The subtle and human imperceptible difference between two similar yet distinct sounds (voices) is absolutely demonstrable through mathematical analysis, more specifically, signal analysis.

What the hell are you talking about? I'm pretty sure the millions of people the Romans enslaved did not volunteer for a better life but were in fact brutalized through violence and abducted from their homes.

Sure. I could accept hearing "Windows is more polished than most Linux distro's". But to say blankly that Windows is polished is crazy talk. It's jank as balls. Its got like 3 totally discrete and independent UI frameworks for the menus operating in parallel, and somehow none of them provide all the functionality you would need, have to mix and match them.

That's just a single example. I could rant for hours.

I agree with your point, but I never would have thought of describing Windows as "polished".
