Not that big of a deal. Mine took like 10 minutes to update the db. And I have a fair size library I thought did have to remove the plugins before or it gave an error.

They've been fixing them since they where found. Look yourself to see what is still not fixed.

I still think such a major change should have been a major release. But that could be because I'm old release numbers don't seem to mean the same thing anymore.

Can't you add your own signing key or the distro can. I know you can remove the existing keys.

Fine then it's easy everything has to have a local API. One of the reasons I got an ecobee thermostat is the local control through homekit.
