Yep I see this as the end game of Plex MPA purchases the data and goes after people.

Sunk cost. It took me loosing my Plex watch history to say fuck it I'm going to Jellyfin.

My guess when the MPA buys plex data and they have what movies everyone has on their servers.

All is a bit of a stretch. I imagine a big chunk of surveillance is privately owned and not even on the network. At least the cast majority I have installed over the years are usually isolated or standalone networks.

What does reading the books have to do with the game. The books take place before the game series. Or am I mistaken.

Have you patched the latest version? Mine stopped working within the last week. Just downloaded the new version and patched it. Has been working fine since.

Yes and no. The deal is your last part is your MAC. So when your extension changes they can still track you over any ipv6 connection. The privacy extension changes the last bit so you can't be tracked over any connection.
